We had talked about wanting wire railing for a long time.  Then one slow afternoon at lunch time, Leif was sitting on the deck and decided to start kicking out all the previous railings.  Despite one nail straight to his toe and a few weeks of being paranoid about the kids falling off a railless deck, he finished it and it is beautiful.   We may not have the modern chic house we dream about but we do what we can and you won’t find us complaining!
