Liam’s first bump competition

I’m writing this in bed half asleep after three days of powder skiing with Liam in Montana. 14 inches, 7 inches and then 18 inches...Lost Trail, MT did not disappoint. But as awesome as the powder was, it was nothing compared to watching Liam weather the ups and downs of his first moguls…

Liam Freestyle Team

Liam seems so stoked lately on his new ski team. Tons of skiing on Baldy, his first back flip into the air bag on Rotarun and a 360 into a mogul field. His coaches are super supportive and stoked on him, he’s made some good friends and he is never bummed to have to go. Super proud of him lately.…

This is the good ol days…

So I’ll let you in on a little secret. I get ideas. Sometimes they are grand ideas and sometimes they are small ideas. Usually these ideas push my husband out of his comfort zone. Walking into the wilderness with my family to cut down a Xmas tree is one of these ideas. Leif knows that when I get…

The first (and hopefully last) COVID Halloween

Trick or treating was off this year so we had to get creative on Halloween this year. And by “we”, I mean “my mom.” Grandma planned an epic scavenger hunt for the kids - 15 hints with 15 stops for candy around our whole neighborhood. She got so many of the neighbors involved who looked through…

They really do love each other…

Presley got her feelings hurt at a play date yesterday when one of the little girls gave a “present” to another girl and then told Presley she couldn’t have one because she wasn’t her “best friend.” Ugh. Girls can be so mean!! Even 6 and 7 year olds! I told Liam and Skyler about it this…

SJ scores the winning goal!!!

I had planned on letting Skyler ride with one of her teammates this Saturday to her game in Idaho Falls. We have travelled for soccer for the past month and I was thinking I needed a break. But then on Thursday, Skyler told me she was going to score a goal and I said “well, then I guess I have to…

Back to school!

After almost 6 months out of school, the kids are headed back today. How is it possible that I have two middle schoolers!!! Poor little Skyler was so so nervous but she is on great hands with Mr. Parsons as her homeroom teacher. Liam was calm, cool and collected...old hat for him! So unbelievably…

I am participating in Idaho Rivers United’s River Run and was wondering if you would support me.

Idaho Rivers United works to protect and restore Idaho’s rivers and native fisheries, a cause very important to me. Idaho’s rivers need ongoing dedicated protections to keep our waters running clean, clear, and full of fish.

To participate in the River Run, I rafted down the Middle Fork River and had a great time. I saw lots of different kinds of fish and even a black bear.  They were all in their natural habitat and I want to keep it that way so all wildlife can be happy forever.

Please consider supporting me in my efforts for this worthy cause!
